… is all that matters here!

Here’s a lovely lightweight scarf I have just made.  I couldn’t leave the poppies until I had used the theme on at least one other item.

Changing my style slightly, although still keeping the scarf as fine as possible and using the wool mainly to ‘stick’ silk to silk, I laid one end of the scarf out showing a poppy field, and the other with three large poppy heads.

This will be on display over the weekend as well.

That’s really nice 🙂 The style and texture make it look like a watercolour painting.

    • Thanks. I have been around quite a few artists the last couple of weeks as part of our local Arts Trail, and I think I’ve been positively influenced to play with more of an artistic flair on some of my felting. Someone has already purchased that one, so now I want to make more in a similar style, but experimenting with different flowers.
